The Glitch Project
While 2025 was a year of new beginnings and restarting passions, I want this year to be about defining and undoing. I want this year to be a year of exploration in a way that is singular to me. Thus, the main focus of this challenge will be on three categories:
1. Creating whatever my mind finds interesting, even if it results in an “ugly” design
2. Creating my own personal stories and defining my way of storytelling.
3. Creating larger projects that involve more worldbuilding or imagination on my part
Every two weeks in 2026, I need to create
a series of designs. Each of the
weeks will have a different focus:
1. Creating visuals that coincide
with a short story that I’ve
writtern
2. Creating a movie poster or a book
cover that coincides with a longline
that I’ve written

The Drama - Concept Poster
Designer’s Note:
[Concept]
Recently saw the Drama and had so many thoughts. Such an interesting concept and great execution. I absolutely adored the marketing and creative direction of the film’s promo. Very wedding based but not in a cliche way. It was interesting but not too exposing of the premise of the film. The film has a very clean yet textured look. Likewise, the film had a lot of neutrals which is a contrast to the chaotic energy of the film and especially Robert Pattinson's character, Charlie. I wanted to emulate that look in a way in the designs.
Anyway, I decided to make some fun designs. Different from my normal work, but it was a good exercise on simplicity, texture, and lighting.
All original photos belong to A24 and are from the original movie posters.

The Winter Fairy Has Left Us
What does it mean to be a winter fairy?
Do you think that you can find one at Joseph’s Fine Antiques Shop?
Designer’s Note:
I wanted to create something mythical with this design. Something that looked like a wonderful vision. Not quite real, but could be in another universe. Considering the weird weather as of late, it appears that we are the final few days of winter weather so why not celebrate its final days. The in-between of winter and spring is truly something bizarre yet beautiful.

Everything is the Arts. Everything is a New Genre.
Designer's Note:
I wanted to create a type-based design that inspires as well as reminds the wearer of the beauty of the arts. In a sense, I wanted to create merch that included a mantra of sorts. A shirt that reminds Gen Z to live a full artistic life.
This was shirt was created to be sold at MALCon 2026 in Milton, GA.

Motion House
Be with me at the Motion House.
[concept design]
Designer's Note:
I had a particular concept in mind while creating this design. I imagined a group of 20-somethings as they discover themselves through the solace of the Motion House. They are artists and corporate workers. They heal, find romance, and accept adulthood as they dance at the Motion House.
